Tony

Tony is a baby-boomer, born in 1956, . At the time of writing, he is perilously close to which means, of course, he has achieved the 'big five-oh.'

When younger he travelled extensively. Now married for nearly 20 years, he has three kids, two cars and a mortgage.

Tony has a keen interest in science and technology, and has (nearly) always worked in technically related jobs. He's completed a mechanical trade, an engineering certificate in electronics, and a post graduate management degree.

Tony's politics are moderate left of centre, and is been generally appalled by the antics of very happy that the miserable conservatives that are were the current past Federal Government have been removed.

Being an agnostic-verging-on-atheist, and an environmentalist, he has no time for 'Intelligent Designers,' global warming nay sayers, and religious fundamentalists.

Watching sport is a favourite pastime. He likes all the oval ball codes, but is fanatical about the AFL and the Sydney Swans. Predicts the euphoria of the Swans premiership will last well into 2006. He's getting over the one point grand final loss to the Weagles, and thinks that the present Swans have one Grand Final left in them. (He's often accused of being delusional.)

Having the skills to host his own server, and a desire to vent his spleen about the deteriorating world in which he finds himself, Tony decided to blog. Being a tech-head means writing doesn't come easily, and it shows. Spelling and grammar mistakes will be found. The odd factual error may exist. If it bothers you, leave a comment.

Tony is aware that his posts are haphazard. He asks that you understand that he works full time and has family commitments. Blogging comes second to these.
