The Federal Opposition isn't going to have much trouble finding things to talk about over the next two years if this is typical of the standard of "Work Choices" agreements.

Yup--that is REALLY messed up! There are various degrees of slavery as have been practiced by humankind, but even many of the ancient slave owners had an inkling about how to keep their slaves in good nick. For example, you don't apply practices which have an ongoing punitive and humiliating effect, unless you want your slave to become ill and lose his power to perform for you.
Modern slave owners though? Pfffwhaaa!
