And to end my snarky theme tonight, Tim Blair, that most rabid of RWDB bloggers, (one I link but rarely read) paid out a $250 prize to Antony Lowenstein, who's serious and definitely leftish blog scored more hits than Blair's friend Shelley Horton's 'gossip and pap' blog.
Congratulations to Antony. If he hasn't already decided, may I suggest he 'disperses' the money to a suitably ideologically incorrect (in Blair's eyes) cause.

It shall be done. A suitably appropriate cause will be bestowed with some money soon enough. Hold that thought...
You're wrong, Tony. Antony received much fewer hits than Shelly; he won because Shelly abandoned her site.
I'm honoured that Tim has left a comment on my humble blog!
He has me on toast. Yep, Shelly's blog has gone. I never checked. I suppose that's why Antony mentioned he was the 'default' winner. No doubt this omission would have got me sacked if I was a PBL employee.
However, I'm wondering why Shelley didn't win if she got more hits? Does it matter if she pulled stumps before the comp ended?
